Anthony Ogogo Confirms Rib Injury Ahead Of Double Or Nothing Match With Cody Rhodes (Updated)

Update: Ogogo has since posted the following update, revealing his rib is not broken after all:

Just got the report back, rib ain’t broken. Ready for war. See you tomorrow at the weigh-in piss boy Flag of United Kingdom #theguvnor #DoubleOrNothing #AEWDynamite

Anthony Ogogo is banged up, but he’ll still be ready to fight on Sunday night.

Anthony Ogogo recently revealed that he’s currently dealing with a broken rib, telling Metro UK‘s Alistair McGeorge that he was injured after practicing a standing elbow drop during a training session this week.

“I’m sitting here now – I’m very, very open and honest, probably too open and honest… But I am who I am, I do what I do. I’ve got a broken rib right now,” Ogogo said. “My rib’s broken because I did a move in training this week. I did it wrong, and I broke a rib. I’m now wrestling Cody, the best wrestler in the world, with a broken rib… And that’s real, that’s not me just saying that. My rib is f***ed!’”

Anthony Ogogo and Cody Rhodes will face off at AEW Double Or Nothing on Sunday, May 30 on pay-per-view.
