Zicky Dice Debuts, Thunder Rosa In Action, More Announced For 6/8 AEW Dark

Zicky Dice is making his long-awaited AEW debut.

Dice posted the following, announcing he’s been added to tonight’s new episode of AEW Dark in a match against Lance Archer:

Abadon also announced (via Twitter) that she will be in action against Willow Nightingale. Six total matches have been announced for this week’s episode of AEW Dark; the card also includes:

  • Matt Sydal vs. Dante Martin
  • Tay Conti vs. Natalia Markova
  • Angelico (with Matt Hardy) vs. Matthew Justice
  • Thunder Rosa vs. Megan Bayne
  • Willow vs. Abadon

Rosa and Conti will look to gain momentum in the women’s division, while Sydal and Martin could gain some ground in the TNT Championship picture by winning their respective matches.

AEW Dark airs every Tuesday at 7 p.m. EST on the company’s YouTube channel.

WrestleZone will provide the results of the show once it airs on Tuesday night.

Zicky Dice has made it no secret that AEW was his top priority after he left the National Wrestling Alliance last year. In March, Dice told the Wrestling Perspective Podcast that he’s been a free agent since January, but there’s going to come a time where AEW couldn’t ignore him—or his money-making potential—any longer.

“I’m going through this maze and this maze is, my current situation right now, I feel stuck,” said Dice. “I’ve been a free agent since January 1, I’ve got over two million views on Twitch. I know I’m entertaining, I know nobody on the indie circuit is doing the things that ‘Outlandish’ Zicky Dice is doing. So if they’re not gonna give me what I want, it looks like I have to go and take it.

“So that means the clock is officially ticking. Time is running out. I’m getting fed up,” Dice noted, “and it’s only gonna get worse from here. Because there’s gonna come a point in time when you can’t ignore money.”

Zicky Dice also spoke with WrestleZone’s Dominic DeAngelo last week and said nothing had changed in the months since that original interview, explaining that getting a shot with AEW was still his main priority.

“Damn right it is! Damn right it is. 110%. 110%, yes,” he stated. “Imagine if I had a machine behind me that believed in Zicky Dice as much as I do! Dude, possibilities are endless, try me and guess what? If you don’t believe, just bring me up there to the main stage anyways and let me and Scooch handle the rest. We’ll still keep the ball rolling. I’m not worried about a damn thing. My production will always stay top-notch.”
