Bronson Reed Thanks His Fans, Comments on WWE Release: Many Doors Are Open For Me Now

Bronson Reed is doing his best to look at his release from WWE with a bright opportunity.

After WWE released Reed on August 6, the former NXT North American Champion Champion shared his thoughts in a Twitter post. ““The Colossal” thanked his coaches in NXT, and he also expressed his gratitude to the locker room.

“I’ve had some time to reflect now and some time to just process what has happened,” said Reed. “And I was very shocked, very upset. As you know, this doesn’t just affect me. It affects my wife as well, and we are here in a foreign country. But my wife is a super positive person, and she’s kept me positive as well. I’m just very thankful. The love and support that I’ve received online is just incredible. I was trending on Twitter, and it means a lot to me. It means a lot that a lot of you feel for me and will still continue to follow me no matter what.

“I did want to thank NXT, I want to thank Hunter and Shawn for believing in me. I want to thank all the coaches , Terry Taylor, Scotty 2 Hotty, Norman Smiley, Steve Corino, those guys that I learned a lot from. And I wanted to thank all the boys backstage as well, it was a great locker room to be a part of.”

Reed also made it clear that he’s looking forward to the future because he wants to prove that he’s one of the best big men in the industry.

“I am staying positive, and I do believe I am, bar none, the best super heavyweight in the world,” said Reed. “And I’ll continue to prove that so as they say, one door closes, and another one opens. Well for me, many doors are open. Now it’s just about which one I wanna walk through. So thank you very much for the support and love, and please keep supporting me.”

Reed signed with WWE in January 2019, and he made his televised debut on the July 17 episode of NXT later that year. Since then, he gradually became one of the most remarkable stars on NXT, and he won the NXT North American Championship by defeating Johnny Gargano on the May 18, 2021 episode of NXT.
