Ring Of Honor Wants To Know Which Recently Released NXT Talents They’d Like To See In ROH

Ring of Honor prides itself for listening to its fans and giving them a voice.

The company took this trait to a new level on Friday when, in a post on its official Twitter page, ROH asked the fans which recently released WWE NXT wrestlers they’d like to see compete in the promotion. The post directly tagged WWE NXT’s Twitter account.

Naturally, several wrestlers have responded. Former ROH World Champion simply said, “Bring your best men.” He noted that he’s already grown tired up beating up the wrestlers on the ROH roster.

Eli Isom, who regularly competes on ROH programming, had two specific suggestion. He pitched seeing former NXT star Mercedes Martinez square off with Chelsea Green, Nicole Savoy or Sumie Sakai.

Reigning ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion Shane Taylor chimed in by inviting anyone who dares to step up and face him alongside his partners in Shane Taylor Promotions.

Plus, Mandy Leon, a competitor in the resurgent ROH women’s division, responded with a GIF to say,”Everybody.”

The World Famous CB, formerly known as Cheeseburger, took a different approach; he named Lee Moriarty, who was not a member of the NXT roster, as someone who could fit right in with ROH’s emphasis on pure wrestling.

On the other hand, ROH wrestler Joe Keys encouraged the company to focus on members of the roster it already has.

In the newest edition of “Eck’s Files,” ROH staff member Kevin Eck teased that some former WWE wrestlers will pop up at ROH Death Before Dishonor next month.

“I’m hearing that some talented wrestlers who were recently released from another organization could be appearing at Death Before Dishonor,” wrote Eck.

Needless to say, the tweet, paired with Eck’s comment, has already generated a lot of buzz in the wrestling world.
