Lights Out Tag Team Match, Eight-Man Tag Bout Announced For AEW Rampage: Grand Slam, Updated Card

All Elite Wrestling continues to load up the card for what’s sure to be a historic AEW Rampage: Grand Slam.

As of Friday afternoon, the card for AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam had been mostly set. But the second half of the event, a two-hour special episode of Rampage, remained fairly open. During AEW Rampage on Friday night, the company announced several buzzworthy bouts to fill out the card.

A Lights Out Match pitting the team of Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston against Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer leads the way. Moxley defeated Suzuki in a singles match on the September 8 episode of AEW Dynamite, but the two duos brawled to close the show this past week.

It will all come to a head next Friday night in a Lights Out Match that will allow these brawlers to do what they do best.

Plus, one week after they defended the AEW World Tag Team Championship against The Butcher and The Blade, the Lucha Brothers will face the duo again. This time around, the champions will join forces with Santana and Ortiz, who made the save when Hardy Family Office attacked the Lucha Brothers after the title match on September 18.

The company also added a match between Anna Jay and Penelope Ford to the card; Jay and Tay Conti have been feuding with Ford and The Bunny in recent weeks. Jay even defeated The Bunny in singles action this past week.

The updated card is as follows:

  • Men of the Year (Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky) vs. Jake Hager & Chris Jericho
  • Penelope Ford vs. Anna Jay
  • CM Punk vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
  • Lucha Brothers & Santana and Ortiz vs. Private Party & The Butcher and The Blade
  • Lights Out Match: Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston vs. Lance Archer and Minoru Suzuki
  • SuperKliq (Adam Cole & the Young Bucks) vs. Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus & Jungle Boy) & Christian Cage
