Rhea Ripley And Nikki A.S.H. Compete In Honor Of Connor’s Cure, Win WWE Women’s Tag Titles

Natalya & Tamina have been enjoying a successful run as the WWE Women’s Champions, but it ended tonight. In a match against Rhea Ripley and Nikki A.S.H., who were fighting in honor of Connor’s Cure, the duo lost the gold.

Before the match, an emotional A.S.H. and Ripley stood at the top of the ramp and announced that they would be dedicating their match to the kids, and to everyone who may have been affected by pediatric cancer. In doing so, they were sharing their support for Connor’s Cure. The duo then coordinated a huge moment where everyone in the arena held their hands up in a “V’ formation for “Victory,” before the match proceeded.

In what ended up being a relatively quick match, Ripley and A.S.H. promptly walked out as the champions thanks to some trickery from WWE’s resident “almost a superhero.” After Tamina got her knees to stop A.S.H. from hitting her with a splash, Ripley took her out with a Riptide onto the apron. Inside the ring, Natalya was too busy looking at this chaos, and A.S.H. quickly rolled her up to win the match and the titles.
