After being away from the ring for nearly a year, Riddick Moss surprised the WWE Universe by appearing on tonight’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, where he ambushed Kevin Owens in front of Baron Corbin.
During the inaugural edition of his “Happy Talk” show, Corbin continued to brag about his sudden influx of wealth and how he was now much happier as a result of it. Corbin then revealed that his first guest would be none other than Kevin Owens, who was quickly blindsided by a man in a hoodie during his walk to the ring. The assailant turned out to be Moss. He and Corbin proceeded to assault Owens and powerbomb him onto the steel stairs in a vicious attack.
This marks the first appearance for Moss in the WWE for nearly a year, as he has been out of action since September 2020 after suffering a torn ACL. He last appeared on the September 28, 2020 taping of WWE Main Event, where he defeated Erik.
Now, though, it looks like Moss is ready to step back into the ring, as he made quite a splash during his re-emergence.
