WWE will present a special match at this year’s Tribute to the Troops event.
Per Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the company taped a bout between Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura ahead of Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown in Ontario, CA.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider also reported some details about the broadcast of the event; this year’s Tribute to the Troops show will air on FOX on November 14. The show will air at different times, depending on local markets.
Aside from a one-year gap in 2019, the show has been a staple of the WWE calendar since 2003.
