ACH Returns To Wrestling, Confronts Buddy Matthews At ‘AWE Loud Chapter 2’

ACH has returned to professional wrestling.

ACH made his return on Sunday night and made a big statement by confronting former WWE star Buddy Matthews (Buddy Murphy). ACH appeared on the live broadcast of Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment’s “Loud Chapter 2” event, making a surprise appearance and confronting Matthews in the ring.

The broadcast team pointed out that the GWC title ACH was carrying was still sanctioned and held by him, and not vacated as it was planned when he initially announced his retirement this summer. ACH didn’t say much to Matthews, but he cut a brief promo and said he represented The Hierarchy and “the champ is back, b-tch!”

ACH’s last match took place at AAW’s Take No Prisoners live event on May 7. Prior to announcing his retirement, he had also been working for Heavy Metal Wrestling and Metroplex Wrestling in Texas, and made regular appearances for GCW, MLW and New Japan Pro-Wrestling in the past year.

ACH posted a message on his Instagram account on June 16, confirming he planned on officially “stepping away” from the squared circle.

“No need for the dramatic or emotional word play. As of today I will officially step away from professional wrestling. Thank you all for the support and love,” he wrote.
