PAC vs. Andrade El Idolo 2 certainly delivered from an in-ring perspective so much that Malakai Black had to meddle in PAC’s business post-victory. PAC emerged victorious on AEW Rampage; the bout that was very back-and-forth to the very end, as the two men traded roll-up attempts, but “The Bastard” ultimately bested “The Black Mask” from Mexico.

Right after PAC got the 1-2-3, the lights went out and it took a moment before fans saw Black standing in the ring. He staresd at both Andrade and PAC before he spit black mist into the eyes of “The Bastard.” Andrade subsequently hesitated, unsure what to make of Black’s actions, but hr decided to help Black attack his fallen opponent. This beatdown then prompted Arn Anderson to appear on the entryway to “shoot his hand” at Black.
In doing so, he cued Cody Rhodes to come out of the crowd and attack Black from behind. The show shortly after ended when Black rolled out of the ring, leaving fans eagerly waiting for the third in-ring clash between Rhodes and Black on the October 23 edition of Saturday Night Dynamite.
