NEVER Openweight Title Bout Set For NJPW Battle In The Valley

Jay White will defend the NEVER Openweight Championship against Tomohiro Ishii at New Japan Pro-Wrestling‘s “Battle in the Valley” show on November 13.

The match comes attached with the stipulation that Ishii can’t challenge for the title again if he loses. Ishii challenged White back in September, but “Switchblade” made it clear that his acceptance was contingent on this stipulation.

G1 Climax 31 winner Kazuchika Okada and Buddy Matthews (formerly known as Murphy), among other stars, have also been announced for the show.
