Matt Cardona Sends GCW Roster A Message, Asks Them To Wear ‘Professional Attire’

Despite his (occasionally) heelish antics, Matt Cardona wants the best for Game Changer Wrestling.

The reigning internet champion strives to show everyone how great the company can be. For this reason, he took to Twitter to send the entire GCW locker room a message by asking everyone to “dress appropriately” in order to properly represent the company.

Cardona’s message is as follows:

“As GCW Superstars, you are the company’s most visual representation. As such, the company expects you to dress appropriately and maintain a professional image at all times. (GCW events, airports, appearances, etc). Items including shorts, flip flops, and ripped/shredded shirts do not constitute professional attire. Please use your best judgement to dress professionally.

Thank you.

Matt Cardona”

Fans have booed Cardona because, in many ways, he’s the antithesis of everything the company is known for. But as seen in this tweet, his efforts to change GCW continue; as early as August, he publicly shared a list of ways he can “fix” the promotion.

Cardona will compete at GCW’s “Evil Deeds” show on November 12, where he’ll face Alex Shelley.

The Internet Champion recently spoke with WrestleZone’s Colin Tessier; in the interview, he discussed his reign as the champion, his run in GCW, and much more. Check the full conversation out on our YouTube page.
