Big E Wins Hard-Fought Main Event Against Kevin Owens

Big E and Kevin Owens closed out tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW with a first-time ever singles match, and the reigning WWE Champion emerged victorious.

During the match, Big E and Owens traded blows to start, and as the match continued, the duo got a bit of a surprise in the form of Seth Rollins. Rollins, the top contender for Big E’s title, came down to ringside in the middle of the bout, hoping to annoy the champion as much as he could.

Toward the end of the contest, things broke down in the ring, with Owens blocking the Big Ending attempt from Big E and shoving him into the corner. However, in the process, Big E landed an accidental headbutt on Owens. With the referee checking on Owens, Rollins came in and nailed Big E with the contract that he won for a title match.

Though he hesitated to capitalize on the advantage, Owens eventually tried to pin the champion. But Big E reversed it and pulled him down for the quick pin and win.

After the bell, Big E confronted Owens for trying to pin him after Rollins’ interference. Owens tried to explain himself by saying that he was knocked for a loop after the headbutt, but th champion wasn’t buying it. Instead, he made it clear that he doesn’t trust Owens, as “The Powerhouse of Positivity” dropped his adversary with a Big Ending.
