Report: WWE Parts Ways With Long-Time Senior Vice President Of Creative Services

WWE continues to make some moves behind the scenes.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the company has parted ways with Senior Vice President, Creative Services Stan Stanski, who had been with WWE since 2006. This departure comes one day before the company’s earnings call on November 4.

Per Johnson’s report, Stanski’s exit was seen as the ultimate proof “no one is safe” and “yet another reminder this isn’t the same company it was a year ago.”

Dating back to his arrival as Vice President of Creative Sources in 2006, Stanski worked his way up until he was promoted to his current position in 2012.

In the job description on his LinkedIn account, Stanski wrote the following about his position:

Lead an integrated team, providing leadership and a strong creative vision for all WWE brands and marketing initiatives worldwide. Responsible for defining and managing the overall creative look of WWE across all platforms including but not limited to: the graphic identity and branding; photography; on and off air affiliate marketing of pay-per-view events; consumer and trade advertising; consumer products; sponsorship and retail promotions; live event and tour promotion; fan events; talent brand development; corporate communication; and WWE Studios.

Johnson’s report notes that more departures are expected to come to light, though Stanski’s was the most senior-ranking exit. Likewise, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that WWE made several other office cuts, with the number in the “single digits.”

WrestleZone will provide more details as they become available.
