Karrion Kross On The Helmet He Wore On WWE RAW: ‘Nobody Wants That Piece Of Sh*t’

It’s comforting to know that former NXT Champion Karrion Kross felt the same way about his helmet that the rest of the WWE Universe did.

Karrion Kross was among the latest round of WWE releases last night, and the former NXT Champion has wasted little time expressing his true feelings on social media regarding his character direction on WWE RAW.

When responding to a fan who wondered if Karrion Kross would be willing to give him the helmet that he wore to the ring, Kross replied in hilarious fashion:

“Nobody wants that piece of sh*t brother. *crying laughing emoji*,” Karrion Kross replied in a tweet.

Vince McMahon and WWE creative did Kross little favors upon bringing him up to the main roster, taking everything away from him that made him unique and stand out on WWE NXT. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Kross didn’t enjoy the shift of his character on the main roster or the terrible helmet that came along with it.

Kross was asked about the origin of the helmet in an interview last month, and while he walked the company line then. It would be a lot more interesting to hear his in-depth thoughts about it now:

“I’m not entirely sure at this point, because I received a briefing about — I think it was about a creative team conversation. I guess it was a series of people coming up with attempting to expand on the original concept that was presented during NXT. So I guess it was a team of people [that came up with the mask concept],” Kross explained, “but the direction that I think they were attempting to go in was a gladiator.”
