Katrina Cortez Thanks WWE After Her Release: ‘Everything I Did, I Did With Love’

Among many other performers, WWE released Katrina Cortez on November 4, ending her time with the company after she initially signed in August 19. She appeared a few times on NXT and WWE Main Event tapings after her initial debut on the November 4, 2019 episode of WWE RAW. In recent weeks, she has competed on WWE 205 Live; in her last match, she lost to Sarray on the October 29 episode of the show.

The day after her release, Cortez issued a statement on her Twitter page:

Everything I did, I did with love. Thank you for giving a 19-year-old girl the opportunity to fulfill her dream, to be the first masked woman, the first Chilean, and to represent Latinos/Hispanics.

Thank you @VinceMcMahon @wwe @wwenxt universe

In the post, Cortez expressed her gratitude to WWE and Vince McMahon for giving her the opportunity to live her dream and represent Latinos/Hispanics during her time with the company.
