AEW Full Gear: Lucha Brothers vs. FTR Result

Tonight’s AEW Full Gear pay-per-view saw the Lucha Bros. take on FTR for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. In a huge brawl, the Lucha Bros. were able to come out on top, retaining their titles in a big win.

From the very start, both teams went at it fully, with Fenix getting sent to the floor immediately by both members of FTR. Back inside the ring, Fenix and Wheeler brawled for a bit before things got chaotic once again, and pretty soon all four members were outside of the ring once again. Later on in the match, Fenix was able to take down both members of FTR before hitting an assisted suplex and tagging Penta in.

As the match continued, Penta landed a huge frog splash on Harwood, but that wasn’t enough to keep down the opponent. Meanwhile, Fenix landed a huge kick to Wheeler that nearly ended things, but Wheeler was able to get up and fend him off. After getting Fenix on the ropes, Dax then hit a big right hook before dropping a piledriver on Fenix that resulted in a near fall.

As the match came to a close, things turned chaotic, as the Lucha Bros. hit a dual Fear Factor on the group, but saw FTR kick out. After dropping the defending champions, Cash tried to cheat his way to a pin by propping his legs up on the ropes, but the referee caught it. While arguing for a moment, the Lucha Bros. were able to lift him up and drop him down with a huge splash for the win.
