Update On WWE’s Plan To Move Headquarters To New Building

WWE is set to move its headquarters to a new building in Stamford, Connecticut, according to a recent report from the Stamford Advocate.

The report notes that WWE is targeting late 2022 for the date that it intends to begin moving employees into its new base of operations, which is located at 677 Washington Blvd. The company is currently still headquartered at its longtime building at 1241 E. Main Street, which is about two miles away from the new building.

A WWE spokesperson confirmed the news but didn’t comment any further on the move. For WWE, the completion of this shift will mark a transition that’s nearly three years in the making. In 2019, the company announced that it would be moving its headquarters in one of the largest-ever office deals in the history of the city.

Unfortunately, the move was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the company is now moving forward with its plan. This shift to a new location also cemented Stamford officials’ hope that, somewhat represented by WWE’s status as a global powerhouse, it would continue to be one of the top corporate destinations in all of Connecticut.
