Ruby Soho Is A Sheetz Freak, Says Buc-ee’s Is Like A Flea Market And A Gas Station

Ruby Soho knows that M-T-O is the way to go.

Ruby Soho was a guest on AEW Unrestricted and took a few fan questions, one of which happened to be submitted by Ethan Page, who wanted co-hosts Tony Schiavone and Aubrey Edwards to ask her about Buc-ee’s. The convenience store headquartered in Texas is a favorite of many wrestlers, but Soho isn’t one of them.

Schiavone explained how Ruby walked backstage at an AEW event and asked him which was better — Wawa, Buc-ees or Sheetz? Schiavone said he’s an Atlanta native, so his choice would be Quik Trip, a local convenience store, or Wawa since it’s similar.

“My reaction was when you said you didn’t like Buc-ees, I hugged you,” Soho said. “And then you said you liked Wawa, and I was angry. I was a rollercoaster of emotions. I did the same thing with Aubrey, but my favorite part, the reason I love Aubrey as much as I do, is because she is just as passionate about it. I specifically asked Ethan Page to ask her about Buc-ees because I knew she was just as passionate about her hatred for Buc-ees as I am, and she did not disappoint by any sense of the word.

“I am not a fan of Buc-ees, and the reason for it is I am one of those people who will go to a gas station, and I would like everything at my convenience. I want good food, I want the energy drinks that I want, things like that. Being on the road as much as I have,” Soho noted, “the convenience of having everything in close proximity is very important to me. To me, Buc-ees is a flea market and a gas station. A Costco, flea market, whatever you want to call it, it’s just too much. This has gone on for way longer than I anticipated, for way longer. It has gotten out of control. People have made a logo of the Buc-ees beaver with my tattoos and piercings and hair on it, that’s a thing that’s happening right now.

“So, I’m not a huge fan of Wawa because I lived in Florida for a long time and I just don’t care for it. Sheetz is near and dear to my heart because I love the food at Sheetz, I love deep-fried mac and cheese bites, I love mozzarella sticks on a burger, like come on now. It’s just the best and it’s super convenient, it has all of the best stuff that you could ever want,” Ruby said. “I’m a Sheetz freak. It has gotten to the point to where Sheetz has reached out to me and messaged me, like, ‘Hey thanks for your support, I appreciate it!’ This is turning into a war backstage in AEW, an all-out war, one of which I am losing. I’m losing because there’s not a lot of Sheetz freaks, I think. There’s not enough Sheetz to properly impress. We’ve got to get on spreading the love of Sheetz,” she stated, “but it has turned into a whole thing.”

The convenience store battle between Ruby Soho and Ethan Page has now resulted in a donation towards a good cause, as the two are selling t-shirts that we see the proceeds go towards charity.

Ruby Soho is selling an “Ethan’s The Sheeetz” shirt on Pro Wrestling Tees with the money going towards St. Jude children’s hospital, while Ethan’s Buc-ee’s-inspired Ruby shirt will benefit OneParent.org.
