New Japan Pro Wrestling continued the 2021 World Tag League on Tuesday. The show was headlined by United Empire’s Aaron Henare and Great-O-Khan snapping the undefeated streak of Tetsuya Naito & SANADA. After an Eliminator fro O-Khan drove SANADA into the canvas, O-Khan made it clear Korakuen crowd, and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Shingo Takagi on commentary, that United Empire is on the rise, and that Los Ingobernables de Japon is “trash.”
Naito & SANADA losing also gave room for Zack Sabre Jr. & Taichi to slide into the top spot of the rankings. Dangerous Tekkers got a cerebral win over Toru Yano & Hiroshi Tanahashi to tie Naito & SANADA at 10 points. After spending much of the opening mimicking the Ace and Yano, Sabre & Taichi got Yano & Tanahashi counted out in a true turning of the tables.

Behind Dangerous Tekkers and LIJ, there is an absolute blockade of talent at 8 points. United Empire, Guerrillas of Destiny, Owens & Fale, and Goto & YOSHI-HASHI all got wins to cram the second tier spot at 5 teams.
Elsewhere on the card, EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi used all the shenanigans at their disposal to beat Yuji Nagata & Tiger Mask. The two men were heartbroken by the loss, as they are now on the bubble for elimination. Officially eliminated by their losses on Tuesday were Great Bash Heel and Minoru Suzuki & TAKA Michinoku. Plus the Young Lions delivered their usual opening 10-min overture.
