DEFY Interim Championship Bout Set For DEFY Wrestling Dark Horse

DEFY Wrestling will crown a DEFY Interim Champion at the promotion’s “Dark Horse” show on December 18.

In a tweet, the promotion announced that Brody King will face Christopher Daniels for the title. Randy Myers currently holds the DEFY Championship, but travel restrictions stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic have prevented him from entering the United States.

King currently holds the PWG World Tag Team Championship with Malakai Black, and he continues to compete for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (under its STRONG brand) and Ring of Honor, though the latter’s looming hiatus and “reimagination” have allowed King to wrestle across the country. Daniels’ background speaks for itself; the veteran has enjoyed plenty of success throughout his lengthy career, and he recently returned to the ring after he took some time off.

Two other matches have been announced for DEFY Wrestling Dark Horse; Eddie Kingston will face Schaff, and Blake Christian will take on Nick Wayne.
