Anthony Ogogo has been absent from AEW since June, but he returned at the December 1 taping of AEW Dark: Elevation in Duluth, Georgia.
Per Stephen Jensen, who was live at the show, Ogogo was in a match on Wednesday night; the Olympic boxer teamed up with Aaron Solo, QT Marshall and Nick Comoroto of The Factory and faced four local competitors, includng Baron Black.
Ogogo hadn’t been in the wrestling ring since June, where he also teamed up with QT Marshall to defeat Cody Rhodes & Lee Johnson in a match on AEW Dynamite. Ogogo then learned he would need his tenth eye surgery, and he traveled back to England in order to receive the treatment and recover. Now, though, it seems like he’s ready to get back to business. Prior to his absence. Ogogo feuded with Rhodes and faced him (in a losing effort) at AEW Double or Nothing.
