GCW So High Results (12/3/21): Bandido, Tony Deppen, Allie Katch And More Compete

On December 3, Game Changer Wrestling presented its So Alive event from Houston, TX.

Among other buzzworthy bouts, Ring of Honor World Champion Bandido will face Tony Deppen in a singles match.

The results are as follows:

Loko Wrestling Championship: Dante Leon (c) vs. Jack Cartwheel

Leon and Cartwheel feel each other out early on. A dive to the outside gives Leon control early on. They exchange some fast-paced offense, and Cartwheel hits a slingshot elbow. Leon fires back with a flurry of offense and blasts Cartwheel with some kicks. Cartwheel nails Leon with a superkick and a Spanish fly. Leon blocks a Shooting Star Press and gets a two count with an inside cradle. Cartwheel floors Leon with a clothesline.

Leon hits a few more kicks and slams Cartwheel for a two count. Cartwheel catches Leon with a spinning powerbomb. The action spills back to the outside, and Leon gets a wooden board and a chair. In the end, he earns the win with a corkscrew splash through the board.

Allie Katch vs. Gino Medina

Katch and Medina feel each other out early on. Medina seemingly goes to lock lips with Katch, and she sarcastically blows him a kiss. Medina gains the upper hand and chops Katch. She chops him right back, but the momentum continues to swing back and forth. A knee to the face rocks Katch, but she perseveres and superplexes Medina.

Katch overwhelms Medina with a flurry of offense. A kick earns Katch a two count. Medina nails Katch with a kick of his own, but Katch stuns Medina with a roll-up and gets the win.

Winner: Allie Katch

Ninja Mack vs. Jimmy Lloyd

Right away, Ninja Mack does some hand-stands, cartwheels and kip-ups to showcase his athleticism. Lloyd catches him with a kick and dodges a dive to the outside from Mack. He takes control and grabs two chairs and a door; he then makes a table with the three objects. Lloyd catches Mack and slams him to the mat. They exchange strikes, and Lloyd gets a two count with a superkick.

Mack takes Lloyd down with a poison-rana off the top rope. He slams him through the door-table with a sunset bomb. Mack gets the win with the 630 splash.

Winner: Ninja Mack

Bryan Keith & Mysterious Q vs. The Second Gear Crew (AJ Gray & Matthew Justice)

Q and Keith gain the upper hand early, and the fight quickly spills to the outside. Gray and Justice fight back and drop Keith with a double suplex on the ramp. Back in the ring, Gray and Q trade chops. Justice tags in, and Second Gear Crew isolates Q for a few minutes. Justice blasts Q and Keith with a chair. Gray nails Q with the steel, too, and Second Gear Crew throws two doors into the ring.

Keith suplexes Justice on the ramp and tags in. He takes the fight to Gray, and the match breaks down into an all-out brawl. Gray and Keith exchange strikes. Justice sends Q crashing through a door with a Spear. Second Gear Crew seals the deal with a splash/leg drop combination on Keith for the win.

Gringo Loco, Demonic Flamita and Low Rider vs. Chris Carter, Drago Kid and ASF

A lucha-style arm drag from ASF takes Gringo Loco down, as they feel each other out. They trade slaps before Drago Kid steals the show with a flurry of fast-paced offense. Flamita gets the chance to showcase his own high-flying style. Low Rider grounds Drago Kid, and Flamita does the same way he steps back into the ring.

The match breaks down into chaos, and Low Rider jumps off some scaffolding and takes everyone down. The match continues to be wild with several dives, and Chris Carter pins Low Rider to win the bout.

Winners: Chris Carter, Drago Kid and ASF

The trio on the losing side attack the winners after the bout.

Atticus Cogar vs. Nick Wayne

Before the match officially starts, Wayne charges the ring and takes the fight to Cogar. He dives onto his rival outside the ring and throws him into some chairs. Wayne keeps attacking Cogar, who uses a chair to swing the momentum in his favor. He grounds Wayne and takes control. Cogar catches Wayne and slams him onto a chair with an Air Raid Crash.

He takes out his signature skewers, but Wayne has his intent to use them scouted. Wayne gets a two count with a Spanish Fly. Cogar blasts Wayne with a knee to the face. A Headlock Driver puts Wayne down, but Cogar wants to punish his opponent more before the match end. He chokes him out with a cord of some sort, and the referee calls for the bell.

Winner: Atticus Cogar

Jordan Oliver attacks Cogar after the match to add even more heat to their ongoing feud. Officials help Wayne to the back after the match.

Bandido vs. Tony Deppen

The two competitors trade fast-paced offense. Bandido presses Deppen with one hand and slams him. Deppen fires back with a series of strikes. He dives onto the reigning ROH World Champion at ringside and gets a two count with a diving stomp. Bandido gains the upper hand, and the two men trade stiff blows.

Bandido hits an elevated Ace Crusher, and both men are down after a hard-hitting sequence. Deppen drills Bandido with a kick to the back of the head and continues to throw everything he has at the fan-favorite star. Bandido hits the X-knee, but Deppen gets a near fall with a roll up.

Deppen blasts Bandido with a knee strike, and he earns a piledriver with a two count. Bandido nails Deppen with a knee of his own and pins him with the 21-Plex.

Winner: Bandido

Effy vs. Sadika

Sadika drops Effy with a powerbomb early on, but Effy stretches her out with a painful hold in the ropes. The two competitors go back and forth, and they venture outside the ring. There, they chop each other and brawl around ringside. Effy launches himself onto Sadika while she’s sitting on a chair.

Sadika dodges Effy when he goes for a dive off the apron, and he lands ahard on a chair. She gets a door covered in light tubes, and they both go crashing through the glass with a swinging neckbreaker. Effy’s back/arm is bleeding badly, but he keeps fighting.

The referee tries to stop the bleeding, but Sadika takes the fight to Effy anyway. He drops her with a DDT on the floor. Sadika gets more light tubes, but Effy dives onto her outside the ring. He suplexes her onto a chair and powerbombs her through a door with barbed wire on it for the win.

Winner: Effy

Effy and Sadika show some mutual respect, and Effy leaves to get some medical attention.
