Brandi Rhodes is back in action.
AEW’s Chief Brand Officer returned to the ring at the December 3 AEW Dark tapings, per Jacob Cohen, who was in attendance. Rhodes faced Angelica Risk at the show.

According to CAGEMATCH, this bout marks the first time Rhodes has wrestled since October 2020; she and Red Velvet defeated Elayna Black and Leyla Hirsch on AEW Dark. Rhodes was set to team with her husband, Cody to take on Shaquille O’Neal and Jade Cargill at AEW Dynamite: The Cross Roads, but the Rhodes announced Brandi’s pregnancy in December. She gave birth to their daughter, Liberty Iris Runnels on June 18, 2021.
Brandi has appeared on AEW programming a few times recently; she accompanied Cody to the ring at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam, and she lit a table on fire during his bout with Andrade El Idolo on the December 1 episode of AEW Dynamite.
