Tensions continue to rise between The Briscoes and FTR.
In previous interviews, Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood have made it clear that they want to make the dream bout between the two teams a reality. Earlier this week, The Briscoes made it clear that they’ll “only a phone call” away. In a subsequent tweet, Harwood offered to get the brothers some “real wrestling gear” using his own money.
Now, the 11-time ROH World Tag Team Champions have fired back by posting a video on their Twitter page. In it, Jay Briscoe delivers a passionate message and makes it clear that they’re done playing games online; they’re ready to fight. He invited FTR to “pull up” and specifically named Dallas on Saturday (GCW So Alive) and Baltimore (ROH Final Battle: End of an Era) as two possibilities.
“At this point, I’m done talking with y’all, man,” said Jay Briscoe. “No more playing this Twitter bulls—. F— that. Pull up, baby. Pull up. We gonna be in Dallas, Texas tomorrow night. We gonna be in Baltimore next week. Pull up. We right here motherf—–. F— this bulls— Twitter a– bulls—. Where y’all at?”
Harwood responded to the video with another tweet of his own.
He mocked Jay for saying “enough of this Twitter a– bulls—” and posting a tweet. He then claimed that Jay’s mouth is going to get the Briscoes “2019 Hall of Famed,” seemingly a reference to the way Bret Hart was attacked at the ceremony.
No matter what the future holds, both teams continue to shine in the wrestling world. The Briscoes currently hold the GCW World Tag Team Championship, and they’ll defend the gold at GCW So High on December 4. Meanwhile, Wheeler and Harwood are the defending AAA World Tag Team Champions, and they’ll put the titles on the line at AAA Triplemanía Regia on Saturday night.
