“The Beast Incarnate” is back, as Brock Lesnar returned on the December 3 episode of WWE SmackDown.
WWE official Adam Pearce indefinitely suspended Lesnar when the former world champion attacked him on the October 22 episode of WWE SmackDown. But last week, Kayla Braxton broke the news that Lesnar’s suspended had been lifted; she then announced that Lesnar would be there in person the following week.
Indeed, Lesnar opened the show on December 3, and he immediately made it clear that he wants another shot at the WWE Universal Championship after The Bloodline screwed him out of it at WWE Crown Jewel.

Sami Zayn crashed the party and, after Lesnar noted that he didn’t know who the former WWE Intercontinental Champion was, WWE’s resident conspiracy theorist reminded everyone that he won the Black Friday Battle Royale to earn a shot at Roman Reigns. Lesnar told Zayn that he should face “The Tribal Chief” then and there, rather than waiting until WWE Day 1. Zayn responded by saying that he needed more time to prepare, but Lesnar forced Zayn to change his mind.

Sonya Deville subsequently confirmed the bout and gave Lesnar his shot at the winner at WWE Day 1.
Later in the show, Lesnar beat up Zayn before his title match with Reigns. The challenger was easy pickings for the champion, who blasted his opponent with a Spear and made him tap out to the Guillotine in a few short seconds.
As a result, Reigns will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Lesnar at WWE Day 1.
