During the December 10 episode of AEW Rampage, the Lucha Brothers opened up the show with a massive win over FTR to retain their AEW World Tag Team Championship and kick off a big night.
In what turned out to be an incredible match between both teams, the Lucha Brothers emerged victorious Late in the match, all four superstars were nearly simultaneously brawling with one another while the crowd cheering on. Eventually, Fenix knocked Harwood down with a diving slam. At one point, the momentum of the bout turned in the Lucha Brothers’ favor when Fenix accidentally hit Harwood with one of the titles. Likewise, Harwood nearly stole the win when he hit when the championship gold.
In the end, Penta and Fenix hit a double foot stomp off the top rope onto a downed Wheeler for the win to seemingly settle the score in this rivalry, which has spanned the majority of the fall.
