NJPW STRONG Results (12/11/21): Brody King Faces Tomohiro Ishii As ‘Detonation’ Continues

On the December 11 episode of NJPW STRONG, New Japan Pro-Wrestling‘s presentation of the Detonation event continued with three buzzworthy bouts.

Ring of Honor star Jonathan Gresham, who won the ROH World Championship at the promotion’s Final Battle pay-per-view on Saturday, faced Gabriel Kidd. Plus, the United Empire took on three of the LA Dojo’s best and brightest competitors. In the main event, Tomohiro Ishii waged war with Brody King.

The results are as follows:

  • Jonathan Gresham defeated Gabriel Kidd
  • United Empire (Will Ospreay, Jeff Cobb & TJP) defeated LA Dojo (Karl Fredericks, Clark Connors and Ren Narita)
  • NEVER Openweight Champion Tomohiro Ishii (c) defeated Brody King
