Jessie Godderz vs. Chris Adonis At OVW Nightmare Rumble

Jessie Godderz aims to be holding onto his OVW National Heavyweight Champion against another National Heavyweight Champion. It was revealed on 12/19 that Godderz will battle NWA National Heavyweight Champion Chris Adonis at OVW Nightmare Rumble on January 15 which will air on FITE TV.

Earlier this year in a WrestleZone interview with Al Snow, the OVW operator praised Godderz for knowing who he is as a wrestler, something that can be invaluable in this business.

“He’s in a really good place because he’s had that experience and is young enough and physically fit enough to where all those tools can fit together and given the right opportunity, Jessie could have a great run for somebody because he’s developed, he really understands now, the who he is,” Snow explained, “and then how he can sell that not only backstage, not only down the ramp, but once the bell rings he can still sell that same person. That’s another big aspect of it.”
