Bron Breakker Hopes To Get Rick & Scott Steiner Involved In His Career At Some Point

Since Bron Breakker debuted on WWE NXT 2.0, he has carved his own path, despite his status as a second-generation star. Wrestling is in his blood, as he’s the son of former WCW star Rick Steiner and the nephew of “Big Poppa Pump” Scott Steiner.

Still, he’d like to have both Steiners be part of his career someday; in an interview with Andreas Hale of Sporting News, Breakker outlined how, at the very least, he hopes they get to see him wrestle in person.

“It would be great for both of them to be a part of my career at some point,” said Breakker. “Who knows? I have no idea. But it would be a cool moment for me because neither of them have seen me wrestle in person. They’ve watched it on TV. Maybe down the line, they can be part of something with me. I don’t know.”

The interview was recorded ahead of NXT New Year’s Evil, where Breakker will challenge Tommaso Ciampa for the NXT Championship. The powerhouse described the importance of this match and made it clear that winning the title would mean everything to him.

“It would be the greatest moment of my life to win that title, ascend to a leadership role to represent the company, and a great honor for my career,” said Breakker.

Given Breakker’s rapid rise in WWE and his impressive background as an athlete, some have compared him to WWE Champion Brock Lesnar. When asked about this comparison, Breakker expressed his appreciation and noted that he’s just trying to improve while he takes his career one day at a time.

“I just take it one day at a time, to be honest with you,” said Breakker. “Brock is the man. He’s been the man for a long time. He’s done tons of great things in the WWE and obviously went to the UFC to become the champion. If people say that I’m on the same directory as him then that’s pretty cool. He’s awesome. But I take it a day at a time and focus on the task at hand. I’m just trying to get better each and every day.”

WrestleZone will have full coverage of NXT New Year’s Evil when it airs on January 4.
