Former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis has re-signed with the promotion.
“The National Treasure” broke the news during an appearance on Busted Open Radio, where he told hosts Dave LaGreca and Tommy Dreamer that he’ll be staying with the NWA.

Aldis is a two-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion. In his second reign, he held the title for 1,043 days before he lost the gold to Trevor Murdoch at NWA 73rd Anniversary Show. Prior to his time with the promotion, he starred in Global Force Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, now known as IMPACT Wrestling. He held both the GFW Global Championship and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
Alongside the news of Aldis’ contract extension, NWA announced that its flagship show, “Powerrr” will be returning to YouTube as part of several changes to its content lineup. More information is available here.
