AEW knocks it out of the park on TBS.

Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, AEW Dynamite drew 1,010,000 viewers on January 5 for their debut on TBS. This number is up from the 975,000 viewers the show drew last Wednesday. In terms of the key demo, the show drew a 0.43 P18-49 rating with about 558,000 viewers. This is the highest for Dynamite in the key demo since the September 29 episode did a 0.45 demo rating. In the 18-34 demo, 239,000 viewers watched. This is Dynamite’s fourth-highest in history. It’s also a larger 18-34 audience than either Raw or Smackdown have done since Smackdown on November 26.

This week’s episode crowned the inaugural TBS Champion in Jade Cargill, crowned new Tag Team Champions in Jurassic Express, and saw Adam Page defeat Bryan Danielson to retain his World Championship in the opening match on the new network.
