AEW Rampage Results (1/14/22): Adam Cole Takes On Trent Beretta And More

On Friday Night, All Elite Wrestling delivered another edition of AEW Rampage. On this week’s show, the AEW World Tag Team Championships will be on the line as Jungle Boy & Luchasauus take on John Silver & Alex Reynolds, while elsewhere, Kris Statlander, Red Velvet, and Leyla Hirsch will take on Nyla Rose, Peleope Ford, and The Bunny in a huge match.

AEW Rampage (1/14/22) Results:

Match 1: Adam Cole def. Trent Beretta via pinfall

Cole and Beretta put on quite the show to kick off the night, but it was Cole who would end up on top. After surviving a late finisher attempt from Beretta, Cole was able to land a low-blow after some late interference happened thanks to a brawl between The Best Friends and The Elite and Britt Baker occurred at ringside. With Beretta down, Cole quickly rolled him up for the win.

Match 2: Shawn Spears def. Andrew Everett via pinfall

Spears made short work of Everett tonight, quickly taking him down with C4 after toying with him for a majority of the match. Following the win, Spears delivered a message to CM Punk, telling him that he will “expose” Punk next week during their match at AEW Dynamite.

Match 3: Nyla Rose, Penelope Ford, and The Bunny def. Kris Statlander, Red Velvet, and Leyla Hirsch via pinfall

In a huge match, it was the trio of Rose, Ford, and The Bunny that walked out on top. Late in the match, Statlander looked to have the win locked up for her team, but some late arguments between the team of Statlander, Velvet, and Hirsch caused things to backfire. After that, Hirsch was quickly rolled up for the win.

Match 4: AEW World Tag Team Championship: Jurassic Express (c) def. The Dark Order via pinfall

In the big AEW World Tag Team Championship match to close out the night, it was Jurassic Express that walked in as champions, and walked out with a successful title defense. In what turned out to be a stellar match, it was the duo of Jungle Boy & Luchasaurus that did just enough to keep their belts. Late in the match, the champs were able to survive a late attempt from Silver to close things out.

Towards the end of the match, Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus hit a huge double move on Reynolds before Jungle Boy leapt off the top rope and outside of the ring onto Silver to make sure Luchasaurus could pin Reynolds cleanly in the ring.
