Lita Teases One More Run, Drops Charlotte Flair With A Twist Of Fate

WWE Hall of Famer Lita appeared on the January 14 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown, where she teased going on one more run before she sent Charlotte Flair a clear message.

In the ring, Lita looked back on her legendary career with WWE and told Michael Cole that she felt like she had “one more run” in her. With that in mind, Lita noted that, as previously announced, she’ll be competing in the Women’s Royal Rumble match this year, and her aim is to win it and earn a shot at the gold.

At this point, Flair, the reigning WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, made her way to the ring, where she began berating the beloved star before saying that she retired Lita’s “bestie” Trish Stratus. Flair vowed to do the same to her. Lita laughed off the threat before she dropped “The Queen” with a Twist of Fate.

Michael Cole asks Lita how it feels to be back in a WWE ring. Lita says she is home. Cole says Lita is an inspiration to the women in the locker room. Cole asks why she is back. Lita says she has more career accomplishments but she’s never won the Royal Rumble. She has one more run in here. Lita is going to go through 30 other women and go on to main event WrestleMania. Charlotte Flair inturupts.

Flair makes fun of Lita for being old. Flair is going to put an end to Lita’s dream when she wins the Rumble and picks her opponent for WrestleMania. Lita ponders how Flair is going to throw anyone over the top rope with a head so large she should tip over when she walks. Flair says she retired Lita’s bestie Trish Stratus and is going to do the same to her. Lita flinches at Flair and Flair ducks. Lita laughs and drops Flair with a Twist of Fate.
