Bullet Club, OGK And More Set For 1/21 IMPACT Wrestling Taping

IMPACT Wrestling has announced a few noteworthy matches for its television taping at the Charles Dodge Center in Pembroke Pines, Florida, on January 21.

Bullet Club, the popular NJPW stable, will practically be at full force when Jay White, Chris Bey and the Guerrillas of Destiny compete in an eight-man tag team bout against IMPACT X-Division Champion Trey Miguel, Mike Bailey, Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. This bout will mark the first time the Guerrillas of Destiny, seven-time IWGP Tag Team Champions, compete in an IMPACT ring.

Plus, former Ring of Honor stars Matt Taven and Mike Bennett will battle Rich Swann and Willie Mack in another semi-interpromotional bout. Bennett and Taven are no longer signed to ROH, but they remain heavily associated with the promotion. Collectively known as The OGK, the duo has been featured in an unofficial ROH invasion angle on IMPACT programming, which began at the Hard To Kill pay-per-view on January 8.

Plus, ahead of her return to WWE as part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match, IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Mickie James will face Chelsea Green. With a win, Green could potentially earn a title shot.

The card is as follows:

  • Matt Taven and Mike Bennett (with Maria) vs. Rich Swann and Willie Mack
  • IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Mickie James vs. Chelsea Green
  • Bullet Club (Jay White, Chris Bey and Guerrillas of Destiny) vs. Trey Miguel, Mike Bailey, Ace Austin and Madman Fulton
