For the second consecutive WWE television taping, LA Knight and Roderick Strong are reportedly backstage ahead of the show.
Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the two WWE NXT 2.0 stars are at the venue before the January 24 episode of WWE RAW. The duo faced off in a dark match prior to the January 21 episode of WWE SmackDown, and Knight scored the victory. It’s unclear whether the two stars will compete in another dark match or, potentially, in a bout that will air on WWE Main Event.
WWE tapes Main Event ahead of RAW, and NXT standouts Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne have been featured on the show in recent weeks. Strong lost a hard-fought battle on the January 18 episode of WWE NXT 2.0, whereas Knight recently returned after he spent several weeks away.
Update: According to Smark Out Moment, Knight and Strong competed at the WWE Main Event taping before the show. Knight defeated Cedric Alexander, while Strong came up short against T-Bar.
