The rivalry between Thunder Rosa and Mercedes Martinez will reach a new high when the two foes square off on the February 4 episode of AEW Rampage.
AEW announced the news on this week’s episode of the show and hyped up the bout with a video package. In the promo, Martinez made it clear that she’s been focused on Rosa from the start, and she’s determined to walk away with the victory. Meanwhile, Rosa dared her rival to back up her trash-talk next Friday.

The feud began when Martinez returned to AEW on the December 29 of AEW Dynamite, when she attacked Rosa during her bout with Jade Cargill. In doing so, she cost the fan-favorite her chance to clinch a spot in the finals of the TBS Women’s Championship Tournament. The bad blood has been heating up ever since, and the time for talk will be over when the enemies finally collide next week.
