AJ Styles has been lucky enough to wrestle in some iconic matches throughout his career. However, the WWE superstar still has some left that he’d love to accomplish, including one at WrestleMania 38.
Speaking to DAZN’s Steven Muehlhausen, Styles said that one of “the last dream matches” that he has in his head is a match against “The Rated-R Superstar” himself.
“I want Edge,” Styles said. “I feel like it’s one of the last dream matches I have left. And the fact that it wasn’t possible a couple of years ago due to him not being cleared is something I really want. The fact he came back now makes that match a definite possibility, and I’d like to have it at WrestleMania.”
Styles may not get the chance to face off against Edge, however, as he is participating in the Royal Rumble match at Saturday’s pay-per-view. Should he fail, though, Styles does seem to have his eyes set on getting into the ring with one of the most legendary figures in all of WWE history.
