The Internet Champion is now the IMPACT Digital Media Champion,
On the February 3 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Matt Cardona challenged Jordynne Grace for the latter title. Initially, it seemed like Cardona was reluctant to hit Grace too hard; he looked regretful when he dropped her with a shoulder block. But the champion was more than willing to fight her challenger, and she took him down with a shoulder block of her own. Cardona took control with a nasty suplex into the corner, but he still looked remorseful after Grace landed hard on the turnbuckles.

The Internet Champion continued to overpower Grace, but she rallied with an emphatic spinebuster. Grace fired up with a flurry of offense, and she got a two count with a Vader Bomb. Cardona responded with a Reboot in the corner for another two count. When he got knocked to the outside, he grabbed the title belt, and the referee took it away from him. With the official distracted, Cardona blasted Grace with the Radio Silence for the win.

Grace was the inaugural champion; she won the title at IMPACT Bound For Glory in October.
After the match, in a backstage interview with Gia Miller, Cardona called the win one of the greatest triumphs of his career. When asked what his wife, Chelsea Green would think of his actions, Cardona dismissed the question and told Miller to ask Jonathan Gresham what it felt like to be married to a loser.
