New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced (via Wrestling Observer) that it has pulled four wrestlers from upcoming shows on both Sunday and Monday.
According to the company, Hirooki Goto, YOSHI-HASHI, Taji Ishimori, and Jado have all been removed from both Sunday’s show and Monday’s event, the latter of which is set to air on NJPW World. The announcement notes that all four competitors presented with fevers, or had been a close contact of someone who had developed a fever.
The superstars being pulled continues various postponements and cancellations across the wrestling world. Earlier this month, with AAA Lucha Libre and Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) both postponing shows in January amid COVID-19 concerns.
