Brock Lesnar Doesn’t Care If He’s On Your Mount Rushmore, But He’s Having Fun Right Now

Brock Lesnar doesn’t give a sh-t about Heath Slater’s kids, or your Mount Rushmore of wrestling list.

Wrestling fans and analysts often debate the merits of talent and where they belong in the history books, but Brock Lesnar says things like that don’t matter to him in the long run. Lesnar appeared on Monday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show and was asked about being held in such high regard in pro wrestling circles, but he explained why being on lists and in the Hall Of Fame don’t really appeal to him.

“I don’t really care or give a shit [if I’m on those lists]. I’m serious, I don’t. Like I don’t give a f-ck if I’m in the Hall Of Fame or not. I’ve done what I did, I don’t care if I’m leaving a legacy behind,” Lesnar stated. “What I do care about is I’m a good person, a good dad, all of that stuff. That’s important to me.

“Mount Rushmore of wrestling? There’s a lot of guys [worthy of the accolades] but this is a business about making money, OK? Unfortunately, you [Pat] wouldn’t be doing a podcast if you weren’t making money. Everything is just about turning dolla bills, y’all. I feel fortunate that I can still be on top and do that, to be part of a company that Vince McMahon has skyrocketed. And now to be part of this pay-per-view, we’re going to Saudi Arabia this weekend for the Elimination Chamber, which is a first time for me,” Lesnar noted, “entering the Elimination Chamber match. I’m excited for that, it doesn’t scare me.”

Lesnar went on to call Chamber participant Seth Rollins a legit threat, then closed by saying he felt like “this is what I was meant to do” and that he is having a great time right now on WWE TV.
