Shane Strickland To Return To GCW In April

Shane Strickland is returning to Game Changer Wrestling.

In a tweet on February 18, GCW announced that the buzzworthy free agent will be at two of its shows in April. Both events will be held on the west coast; the first will be in Los Angeles on April 9, followed by the San Francisco show on April 10.

Strickland is venturing back out into the wrestling world following the expiration of his WWE non-compete clause. WWE released Strickland, then known as Isaiah “Swerve” Scott on November 18. During his time with the company, he enjoyed some success as a member of Hit Row; he won the NXT North American Championship before the group was called up to the main roster through the draft in October.

Before his GCW return, Strickland will compete for TERMINUS on February 24, and he also made an appearance at a DEFY Wrestling show recently.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
