The show was taped as part of the NJPW STRONG: The New Beginning USA series; Fred Rosser and Jay White, among other stars, competed on the episode. White hosted an open challenge, which was answered by Jay Lethal. Plus, Midnight Heat faced Kevin Knight and The DKC in a tag team match.
