Report: AJ Styles Signs New Multi-Year Deal With WWE

AJ Styles is with WWE and he isn’t going anywhere.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select is reporting that AJ Styles has signed a new multi-year deal to remain with WWE for many years to come. The Fightful report noted that Dave Meltzer first mentioned talk of Styles’ status on Wrestling Observer Radio in January, and now has some new details about the contract in addition to the confirmation that Styles re-signed.

According to Fightful, Styles’ initial contract was due to expire sometime in the Spring/Summer of 2022. Sapp states WWE didn’t want to let him have the opportunity to talk to another company and wanted to get the new deal taken care of as soon as possible, something that the company was successful in pulling off.

According to WWE sources that Sapp has spoken to, this is a very big contract for The Phenomenal One, with money figures reportedly being “well over $3 million a year.” A figure that one source told SRS they believe Styles will “easily” make that money back for the company. Fightful was not able to confirm the length of the new contract other than learning that it was a multi-year deal.
