Rikishi Teams With AnimeHipHop For New Comic Book ‘Kishi And The Island Of Dreams’

Rikishi is getting into the comic book business.

WrestleZone received a new press release detailing Rikishi’s new comic book called Kishi and the Island of Dreams. Rikishi has partnered with AnimeHipHop for the project, which is scheduled for release in Summer 2022.

AnimeHipHop teams up with WWE Hall of Famer RIKISHI to delight comic book fans with their latest production, KISHI AND THE ISLAND OF DREAMS!

Scheduled for release in Summer 2022, the comic follows Kishi, who must embark on an epic journey to the dream portal to initiate his powers. He is part of a tribe protecting the old ways in a new generation of people lost to the concepts of the past.

“Kishi And The Island of Dreams” is being guided by RIKISHI and helmed by Eric “Cthree” McElroy Jr. (Author/Creative Director), Andre Davis (Executive Producer), Aaron Johnson (Production Designer), Nazar Khan as the (Project Manager), Eli Johnson (Production Animator), Abelard Alexis and Nia Lateju (Concept Artists/Illustrators).

Rikishi also posted the following statement on Instagram in response to the announcement:

IM EXCITED. I’ve always wanted my own comic book but gods timing would show who and when

And there you go my first comic book coming .

Ahead of the comic book release, Rikishi will also partner with Jimmy’s Famous Seafood for a Luau Fundraiser to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on Friday, March 4. Full details about the event can be viewed at this link.
