Finn Bálor is your new WWE United States Champion, as “The Prince” took down Damian Priest in a big win before getting a taste of what an unleashed Priest is capable of.
During the February 28 episode of WWE RAW, Bálor walked out with a win in a hard-fought bout where both superstars gave it their all. Toward the end of the match, Bálor was able to capitalize and reverse a Reckoning attempt into a final cut before hitting a Woo dropkick and the Coup de Gras for the win.

Unfortunately for Bálor, though, the win and celebration was short-lived. Priest grabbed the microphone after the loss and said that no one ever gave him any respect while he was champion. After he stated that he would win back the title, Priest knocked Bálor down and sent him through the broadcast table with a Razor’s Edge.

Priest lands a few strikes before Bálor tries to pick his arm. Bálor locks in a standing armbar. Priest escapes and traps Bálor in a chin lock. Priest sets up a powerbomb. Bálor blackbody drops Priest. Bálor stomps Priest in the ropes. Priest rolls out of the ring and eats a dive from Bálor. After the break, Priest and Bálor trade strikes. Bálor rocks Priest with an overhead kick. Double stomp by Bálor.
Slingblade by Bálor. Bálor sends Priest into the corner with a Woo dropkick. Bálor misses his finish and eats a lariat by Priest. Priest tries a chokeslam but Bálor turns it into a roll up. Priest kicks out. Before Bálor can capitalize, Priest lands south of heaven for a near fall. Bálor reverses the Reckoning into the final cut. Bálor lands another Woo dropkick followed by the Coup de Gras for the win.

After the match, Priest grabs a mic and says the people carried Bálor to this win. The people never gave him that respect when he was champion. He busted his ass and the WWE Universe didn’t care. Priest vows to win back his title. Bálor gets in Priest’s face. Priest decks Bálor. Priest gives Bálor a Razor’s Edge on the announce table.
