Chelsea Green Thanks Fans For Support After Suffering Wrist Injury At IMPACT Sacrifice

Chelsea Green is recovering from a wrist injury she suffered at IMPACT Wrestling’s Sacrifice event on March 5.

After the show, Green commented on the injury in a tweet that featured an image in which her left wrist is in a cast.

“I could copy & paste this caption by now… lol,” wrote Green. “Thank you for the support, calls and texts. — Sh*t happens, but @IMPACTWRESTLING has my back.”

In another tweet, Green responded to a fan who asked if it was the same wrist she previously injured, and the IMPACT star confirmed the news by saying, “Yep.”

Green competed at IMPACT Sacrifice by answering  Deonna Purrazzo’s “Champ Champ Challenge” for the Ring of Honor Women’s World Championship.  Purrazzo defeated Green to retain the title and inflicted more punishment by keeping the Fujiwara Armbar locked in after the bell.

It’s unclear how long Green will be sidelined by the injury. She has dealt with wrist injuries in the past; she previously broke her wrist during her first match on WWE SmackDown in December 2020.

Green tweeted another picture later in the day on March 6, in which she wrote, “Let’s go!” IMPACT Wrestling has television tapings, and it’s currently unknown whether Green will participate,

Green is currently scheduled to wrestle at NWA Crockett Cup on March 19-20; she’s set to challenge for the NWA World Women’s Championship.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
