Peacock President Calls WWE Deal ‘Incredibly Successful’, Looks Forward To WrestleMania 38 And ‘WWE Evil’

WWE often touts the success of its streaming deal with Peacock, as company president Nick Khan highlights the rate of viewership growth for WWE’s premium live events on the platform. But fans don’t frequently get to hear how those with the popular streaming service feel about the agreement between the two sides.

In an interview with Josef Adalian of Vulture, Peacock President Kelly Campbell commented on the deal and called the partnership with WWE “incredibly successful”.

“WWE has been an incredibly successful partnership for Peacock since launch,” said Campbell. “We invested in an incredible fan base that provides us the opportunity to bring those fans back time and time again with the massive live events that are part of the WWE franchise.

“We have WrestleMania, in fact, returning on April 3. This is already one of our biggest live events of the year. And we have an original series that I’m super-excited about featuring John Cena coming later this year called ‘WWE Evil’ that I think will bring a fun new take on the space for this audience.”

Campbell, who became the president of the company in October 2021, highlighted WrestleMania 38 and the upcoming new series “WWE Evil” as two WWE products she’s especially optimistic about, as far as their ability to draw fans in.

WWE officially switched from its own WWE Network to Peacock for its exclusive streaming partner in April 21. Peacock is now the home of WWE’s premium live events and an extensive archival library.
