Jon Moxley And Bryan Danielson Win Tag Team Debut, William Regal Cuts Passionate Promo

Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley bled together at AEW Revolution, so they finally joined forces on the March 9 episode of AEW Dynamite.

The two men had been engaged in a feud in recent weeks, as “The American Dragon” wanted to team up with Mox, but the latter wanted to fight him first. “The Purveyor of Violence” picked up a hard-fought win over Danielson at Revolution, and the arrival of William Regal soothed tensions between the duo. They subsequently debuted as a tag team on Dynamite, where they faced The Workhorsemen (Anthony Henry and JD Drake).

Regal accompanied Danielson to the ring and watched on with approval as the masters of violence picked up a decisive victory.

After the match, Regal joined Danielson and Moxley in the ring for an interview. He noted that he’s “not long for this world” and also thanked his former WCW co-worker Tony Schiavone for everything he’s done for him. Regal stated that he had been “checked out” of the wrestling business after his WWE release, but he started paying attention to Danielson. He pointed out that many young fans only know of him as Danielson’s trainer.

Regal then called Danielson the “perfect wrestler” before he turned his attention to Moxley.

Regal recalled how he met Moxley many years ago. He then stated that he interfered during the brawl between Moxley and Danielson because he knows they’re the perfect combination. Regal warned that anybody who gets in the ring with the duo will either “step up or get stepped on.”
