The upcoming March 30, 2022 episode of AEW Dynamite is going to be a big one, and another buzzworthy match has been added to the card.
During Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage, it was confirmed that The Bunny will face off against an as of yet unnamed new signing for the AEW women’s division in a qualifying match for the Owen Hart Cup. While the tournament itself is not set to kick off until May 11, 2022, the qualifying rounds will begin at the end of March and stretch into April. The finals of the Owen Hart Cup are set to take place during AEW’s Double or Nothing event.
As for who the unknown superstar is, it’s anyone’s guess. In a recent interview, AEW President Tony Khan tease that a recently released WWE superstar would be joining AEW’s women’s division, but didn’t divulge who. Thankfully for fans, they won’t have to wait much longer to find out who it is.
